Kubat held several solo exhibitions and participated in many group exhibitions in Turkey and abroad. The artist is frequently interested in exhibiting her pieces under different conceptual contexts and experimental practices.
According to the artist, who drew inspiration from fairy tales, dreams, books, and nature while creating the series, the first impulse urging her to draw was the notion of “game”.The colours and textures created during the production of these works were instinctive, forming part of a game and a story. In the early days, the artist worked with paper and then enriched her productions with wooden carving, wood printing, canvas, photography and video. Each page of the book, which consists of 14 pages and is titled Daddy is a rabbit and i am a cat!, is printed as a woodcut and will be exhibited both as a book and as a work of art in itself. Kubat describes the importance of the tree and nature for herself as follows: “I guess I love to touch the wood, and I love watching it. I perceive it as a friend.”
