1982, Mimar Sinan Fine Arts University ( Istanbul State Academy of Fine Arts)

The figures, formulas and magical signs portrayed in the works of Koyunoğlu are not mere images of his mechanical dream world, but they represent his projects and drawings. They are products of the brain and not emotions. As he starts a pattern, unaware of what will emerge, the figure appears. There is a different scenario happening behind the figure. In each painting, there is a story that comes to the fore and another that is hidden. His paintings are like Tarot cards. Everytime you shuffle the deck, you can create a combination which will reveal secrets from your alter ego, subconscious and supraliminal mind. Between 1990 and 1991, the artist was engaged in etching in Belgium, and in 1991 he was invited to the Print Biennial in Japan.
